Applied Physics Option

Physics Major: Applied Physics Option

The applied physics option is for students interested in quantitative applications of the laws of physics to a number of applied areas including electronics, geosciences and solid-state physics.

Core Requirements


Requirements include CHM 1310G, 1315G, 1410, 1415; ESC/GEL 3010G; MAT 1441G, 2170, 2442, 2443, 3501; PHY 1351G, 1352G, 1361, 1362, 1371, 1372, 2390, 3080, 3150, 4470, and PHY 4710 (twice, once as Radiation Lab).
