General Mission
The Graduate School at Eastern Illinois University, in consultation with the Council on Graduate Studies, establishes and monitors graduate education policies. The Graduate School also oversees the Office of International Programs and the Office of Grants and Research and the University Tuition Waiver Programs. The Graduate School at Eastern Illinois University is a member of the Council of Graduate Schools, the Midwest Association of Graduate Schools, and the Illinois Association of Graduate Schools. Academic regulations differ for graduate students.
