ENG 3902 - Second Language Acquisition and the Teaching of.

(3-0-3) F., S. A linguistics course focused on principles and dynamics of second language acquisition and literacy of children and adults with some emphasis on putting these principles in practice. the course offers broad coverage of theories of second language acquisition in the U.S. and abroad, including the history of the education of limited English proficiency students. Course requires a service-learning component.

Prerequisites & Notes:
ENG 2901 with a grade of “C” or better, or permission of the Department Chair.
