CHM 5360 - Supramolecular Chemistry and Nanotechnology.

(3-0-3) Basic inorganic chemical principles related to non-covalent interactions (hydrogen bonds, π-π stacking, and C-H···π interactions) will be outlined, as well as their use in the design of supramolecular systems, molecular devices and machines, and other nanoscale systems. Physical methods used to characterize these systems will also be presented.

Prerequisites & Notes
CHM 2310 or equivalent and CHM 3910 or equivalent. Course may not be repeated.
