BIO 4850 - Wildlife Techniques.


 (3-3-4) F. This course will cover the current theories and techniques used by wildlife researchers and managers in the field and laboratory. Students will be exposed to the applications, assumptions, strengths, and limitations of the current techniques to develop the skills needed to critically evaluate the usage of different techniques to solve different ecological problems. BIO 5372 and BIO 3960 are equivalent courses. Students will not be allowed to earn credit in BIO 4850 if they already have received credit for BIO 5372 or BIO 3960. Grade and credit hours for this course will be removed if student already has credit for those courses.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Junior-level standing and “C” or better in BIO 3180 (Introduction to Ecology and Evolution) or permission of instructor. BIO 4750 (Statistical Analysis of Scientific data) recommended. WI
