PSY 5550 - Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities in School Psychology

(3-0-3) This course aims to provide students with a systematic and comprehensive introduction working with students with neurodevelopmental and related disabilities. As this is a course intended for school psychology students, course content and examples will have an emphasis on working with children in schools. Material will cover the history of school neuropsychology, the structure and functioning of the brain, neuropsychological assessments, and serving learners from special populations with neurodevelopmental and related disabilities.

Prerequisites & Notes
Admission to the graduate program in School Psychology or permission of the instructor.
