GEO 4480 - Optical Mineralogy.

(3-2-4) On Demand. Use of the polarizing microscope for determination of optical properties of minerals; identification of minerals in thin section.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Prior or concurrent enrollment in GEO 3405.
