CRM 2761 - Introduction to Criminology.


(3-0-3) This course provides an overview of the field of criminology. Students will be introduced to the various ways crime can be defined and measured, the relationship between crime and inequality, the major sociological/criminological theories that explain criminal behavior, and the types of crimes that pose threats to society and how we respond to those threats.
