MUS 1300 - Instrumental Methods Lab.

(0-2-1) F, S. The course will focus on teaching experience in a beginning/middle school level band setting. Students will gain significant playing time on secondary instruments and will become familiar with materials, literature, conducting techniques, and teaching strategies appropriate for beginning wind players. Students will also complete two hours of clinical observation. This course is restricted to Music majors in the teacher licensure option. Co-requisites:  MUS 1308 or MUS 1309.  Course may be repeated to a maximum of 2 hours or 2 times.
