MUS 1560 - Introduction to Music Composition.

(2-0-2) F. The composition seminar will explore trends, philosophies, and methods associated with music composition practices. The class will focus on hands-on composing experience in a broad range of styles and aesthetics while incorporating a variety of listening and reading assignments. Other topics will include music organization, notation, and media types.

Prerequisites & Notes:
MUS 1502 or permission of instructor. Course restricted to Music majors or minors.
