HIS 1500G - Roots of the Modern World: Society and Religion.

(3-0-3) F, S.  This course will explore the historical origins of the world’s great religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. We will study the lives of the “founders” of each faith, learn the central beliefs of each group, and analyze the conflicts (spiritual and political) that promoted changes of belief and practice over time.  H2 900, H5 904N  WI
