ESC 3020 - Natural Disasters: Causes and Effects.

(3-0-3)  F.  An overview of hazardous environments, natural or partly induced by human activity.  Emphasis on understanding the physical processes and social systems that interact to produce disasters. Considers spatial and temporal distribution of hazards with reference to human populations.
