Nomenclature and reactions of alcohols, ethers, epoxides, sulfides, aldehydes, ketones, amines, carboxylic acids, carboxylic acid derivatives; enolate reactions. Reaction mechanisms; spectroscopy; polymers; biological molecules.  EGR 964; BIO 909; CLS 909

Prerequisites & Notes:
CHM 2440 with a grade of C or better and CHM 2445. Chemistry majors should take CHM 2845 concurrently.
