MUS 3622B - Advanced Jazz Combo II.

(Arr.-Arr.-1) Level two advanced music performance in which the student performs in small jazz ensembles to develop necessary playing and improvisational skills. Emphasis will be placed on performing, studying and analyzing standard jazz repertoire. May be repeated once for credit.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Two semesters of jazz improvisation. Open to all students in the Jazz Studies Option and students who demonstrate competence in jazz performance.
