ART 3685 - Women in Art.

(3-0-3) F-even-numbered years. A study and evaluation of the place of women in the history of art. The course will cover both the images of women conveyed in the art of various periods and the contributions of individual women artists from the Middle Ages to the present. The social conditions contributing to attitudes about women and to the success or failure of women in the professional role of artist will be emphasized.

Prerequisites & Notes
ART 2601G or 2602G or 2330G or permission of the instructor.
