PSY 5400 - Psychotherapy with Diverse Populations(3-0-3) A theoretical and applied consideration of the gender, racial, sexual orientation, disability, belief, socio-economic status, and cultural differences which impact psychological services with diverse individuals, families and groups. Theories of prejudice, stereotyping and issues of culture and psychopathology will be applied to an understanding of the unique mental health needs of a variety of populations.
