CSD 5600 - Cross-Cultural Counseling.

(3-0-3) This course is designed to provide an introduction to and an overview of, the challenges and processes of counseling clients in our culturally diverse society. Factors will include race, culture, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, mental and physical characteristics. Special emphasis will be placed on becoming aware of one’s own culture in order to view the client’s world.
